  • Homosexuality and The Bible By:-George Pryor
This article looks at a subject that is avoided by most pastors and church leaders. This is in an effort not to offend anyone but the truth must be told even when it offends. That's the way our Lord Jesus did it.
  • Another Balance Message By:-Sylvia Huffnagle
In the Biblical balance the believer is to live for God, but God created man to gratify His joy in giving. You can’t out give the giver, in fact God would not be happy with children who acted like servants. He is happy with children who are eager to serve, but He is not looking for a Master/servant relationship with people, He wants a Father/child relationship with people
  • Christian and Church Confinement By:-Stephen Stillman
Acts 12:1-17 contains a wonderful story because it gives us many situations of the Christian life and Church life. The Church and Christians today face and experience the same problems and situations today. We can look at some of the high points of this story and see how they actually relate to us today.
  • What is Life All About? By:-Sylvia Huffnagle
People look at the bad things, the hurtful thing, the tragedies going on and think that since God is all-knowing and all-powerful, that these thing are hHs fault. But just the opposite is true.
  • Spiritual Depression By:-Stephen Stillman
Should we ever get spiritually depressed? No we probably shouldn't, but I think we all can say at times we do. In Psalms 42:11 the words of the Psalmist describe him as unhappy and troubled. "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance and my God."
  • Renewing the Heart By:-Stephen Stillman
Before we begin to think about spiritual formation, we must all realize that each of us have a spirit within us. God made us in His image and in doing so provided us with a spirit. That spirit within each of us has been formed and possesses a specific character. The character of our spirit has been formed from the experiences and choices we have lived through.
  • Challenged to Serve By:-Stephen Stillman
God uses each and every Christian in His work. Many times before we respond to God's calling to join Him in His work we must be challenged. In Romans 15:1-13 the apostle Paul challenges believers to serve each other and to work together in unity. We are to set aside willfulness and self-pleasing actions for the sake of building others up for good.
  • To Serve Christ By:-Sylvia Huffnagle
Christian messages today specialize in motivating the Christian to obey wisdom and truth by appealing to their carnal desires. This is not the true Christian motivation. The true Christian motive for all they do is to serve the Lord in the spirit of holiness.
  • When God Seems Absent And His Glory Gone By:-Stephen Stillman
Do you ever feel that God is absent from you? None of us ever likes to admit there are times when we have a hard time finding God. The truth is that, even in the most saintly people, there are sometimes vacant places in the heart when God seems far away. All of us like to know where God is at all times. In these troubled and threatening times, our restless hearts keep looking for some evidence that God is still in control of the world.
  • In Defense of the Gospel By:-Sylvia Huffnagle
To defend this gospel: Rom: 8:1-4: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3: For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  • Human Interference – Getting in God’s Way By:-Stephen Stillman
Orde Wingate, son of Colonel George Wingate, was a brilliant and unorthodox military leader during WWII. Orde was a somewhat independent and willful person, but he remained faithful to the fine traditions of family. One day a friend asked him, “Orde, when you say one man is good and another is bad, what exactly do you mean?” Orde replied, “Well I use these words in the Biblical sense. When I say one man is good, I mean he lives to fulfill the purposes of God. When I say another man is bad, I mean he lives to frustrate the purposes of God.”
  • The Savior of the World By:-Stephen Stillman
There are certain views and prejudices which stand between many people and a full knowledge of Jesus Christ and a true joy of salvation. Certain views and prejudices create fixed ideas and limits which make it impossible to obtain this knowledge and joy. For some people everything must fit into these limits or else be left outside.
